Ummm... 7 months

Since we are on a roll of sevens I hope that I can break that streak with the next post otherwise our little baby Zoya is going to be 7 years old!
Yup folks, she's SEVEN months and she's a growing and a changing like it's nobody's business. We love her infinity plus 7.
Posted below you'll find a small smattering of photos from April -August 2009. She currently has 3 teeth proud of the surface, she crawls, she stands and she cruises around the furniture. You know, she does stuff like babies do. We think she's brilliant, the jewel of all jewels and perfection cubed. Her babbling right now is particularly delicious.

April 2009 - Zoya's 3rd Month Life with our newborn, Zoya became somewhat easier during the 3rd month... she took to the swing - for sleeping at least - allowing Melissa some handsfree time during the day.
Three months and she already knows she is cute.

We went to the tulip farms... Zoya was unimpressed.

She discovered her tongue.

Zoya finds Ian and Jaden infinitely entertaining.

May 2009 ... Zoya's 4th month. We walked Greenlake with our group of mommy friends and babies. Zoya discovered her fingers and toes... and traveling in the car became less scary as Zoya learned to entertain herself and reach for toys.
Zoya's BFFs out for a walk around Greenlake.

Hands!

Hands taste good.

Really they do.
Look at that yummy yummy baby belly.
Sleep. I love this picture because she just fell asleep during the photo shoot.

Flying baby Zoya.

Zoya loves her pappa.

June 2009... Zoya's 5th month. Zoya took her first plane trip in June to Kansas city for her cousin Sean's wedding. She learned that drinking water from a glass is exciting stuff.
Mommy interrupting bath time with Pappa.

What a big girl!

July 2009
... Zoya's 6th month... milestone mania. By the end of this month Zoya will have learned to sit up, crawl, go from crawling to sitting, stand, and tried her first solids and cut her first two teeth.
Ready. Set. Go!

Avacado. Not really a fan.

August 2009
My bad. I never finished editing this blog post... so I can't say with real clarity what happened in her 8th month. Nonetheless here are some cute photos from that time.

Big Dreams of Zoya Pavlovna Timme

Holy Moly. She is already 7 weeks. Time with baby Zoya is flying. We just realized we promised to post pictures of Pavel and I as infants to compare to baby Zoya and we never did it. Seems like the majority of people who responded believed that Zoya looks like her Papa.

Melissa as a newborn:
Pavel at 6 months old:

Baby Zoya, AKA: Zoya Pavlovna, Baby Baby, Baby Cakes, Zoyaaaaaaaa, has quite the personality. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it.

She is a conversationalist. Zoya can easily go on for a half hour or more telling you what she thinks. Her favorite venue for conversing is the changing table - preferably bare bottomed. Ah, the liberation of diaper freedom.

Zoya is an art critic, she studies the paintings endlessly occasionally offering a witty (we're assuming) quip about the composition or use of color.

She is a zen master in the art of baby yoga which she religiously practices upon waking.

By our measurements Baby Zoya now measures 22 inches and 11 pounds. Grow, baby, grow!

Here are some pictures of the love of our lives for your viewing pleasure.

Drunk baby Zoya passes out on the tap.

Listening to mommy's crazy singing.

Chillin' out in her new sunglasses, wondering what mommy and papa find so funny.

If this were a video, you'd see Zoya thrashing her head back and forth, mouth open saying "Ah, ah, ah, ah." For those of you behind on baby lingo, this means "Feed me now before I scream!"

Our first successful afternoon in the sling. The peaceful child you see above was not so peaceful once she awoke and realized there was no room for baby yoga in this thing.

Afternoon happy hour.

Watching the beautiful sunset.

"Papa, are you for real?"

How could we not love a face like that?

Proud mommy.

Proud Papa.

Proud Grandma

Proud Auntie K

Thanks for taking the time to check out baby Zoya. We hope you enjoy the photos. If you would like your very own photo with Baby Zoya, come visit! :)

Baby ZOYA is here!!!!!!

As you all know, Zoya Pavlovna Timme entered the world 9 days early.
Born at 8:53 am PST on February 2, 2009 weighing in at 7 lbs 4 oz and 19 inches long.

Labor was fast. 6 Hours. 3 hours at home and 3 hours after arriving at the hospital, Zoya plunged into the arms of a very surprised midwife. The midwife said she had to chose between putting on gloves and catching Zoya, she chose to catch Zoya luckily.

It was love at first sight. She's beautiful, smart and full of personality. Pappa is wound around her little finger. Big surprise there. She has already had her first philosophy lesson, a vocal tour of Elliot bay and knows the hypnotic effect of water.

Momma can hold her and love her for hours on end and doesn't mind too much that breast feeding hurts worse than labor. ;)

Today we've reached the first milestone in young baby Zoya's life. Her umbilical cord stump fell off. She is growing up so fast! ;)

Thanks to everyone for all the love that poured in our direction. We hope that one day you all will be able to meet baby Zoya. We're pretty sure you will love her too. She is oh so lovable.

Here are some photos for your enjoyment!

Does young baby Zoya look like Mommy or Pappa? Leave a comment below and in a few days we'll post the tabulated results and post infant pictures of Pavel and Melissa
